My thesis project included both a research and a visual project. My research took a historical look at Chicano culture and how it influenced fashion, photography and other aesthetic movements. I feel as if the heritage of Chicano contributions to our society is greatly under-represented. I decided to explore my research through the creation of a small publication or "zine." In it I utilize personal photography, expressive typography and introduce some of the research I found inspiring.
